Lohana Berkins Library
The Lohana Berkins Library has a collection of more than 4,000 items, the majority of which were donated by the community, including books, magazines, manuals and didactic materials, maps and DVDs, with a travesti-trans perspective.
Among the standouts are works of literature and of the human and social sciences, as well as materials on diversity and sex and gender discrimination, all with a travesti-trans perspective.
For the moment, the library is only lending materials and giving bibliographic orientation to the Mocha’s educational community.
We are especially interested in expanding our collection with works both of and about the LGBTTINB+ community on the issues that affect it, including human rights, equity, integral sex education, art and diverse cultures. Contact us to donate books or other pedagogical materials.
